Holy January, its oversized sweaters season. Is anyone else still in shock that it is a new year? As you may have noticed, I took a major break from blogging & Instagram over the last month to really focus on all of the holiday madness and spending time with family. Plus, let’s be honest, I was a total procrastinator and waited until way too late to do all of my shopping. Then wrapping. You know how it goes. Holidays are so stressful but oh so rewarding! And I appreciate them so much more now that we have two kids. Nothing can beat the excitement of little ones on Christmas morning…nothing!
Speaking of the holidays, and well, this entire winter season so far – I have been LIVING for oversized sweaters. It is so funny how your style can continuously shift over time. Not too long ago I was ALL about the tight shirts. The more form fitting, the better. But lately, all I want is oversized & cozy.
I think it started last year when I was super pregnant with Stella Bella. Maternity clothes are not my friend, so I actually just bought a lot of oversized things or sweaters a couple of sizes up that would fit my huge belly. Now, I can still wear them without looking like I’m rocking maternity gear 😉
My recent favorite way to wear them is with a maxi skirt and belt cinched around the waist. Give me all the BOHO vibessss. But there are so many ways to wear one. Here are some of my other go to looks…
