Welcome to one of the hardest times of the year to dress! PSL has officially made its debut, college football is on our TV all weekend (every weekend), and pumpkins are starting to assume their position on porches everywhere…however, temps are still screaming Summer. It seems like as soon as August hits, everyone is v ready for Fall, pulling out cardigans and boots while trying to smile over top of the sweat…haha!
I always find early Spring and early Fall to be the toughest times of the year to dress because mentally, you are likely ready for the upcoming season, but the weather is tempermental and taking its time making the full switch.
To make the transition a little bit easier, I try to stick to items that are still appropriate for the current temps, but favor the upcoming seasonal hues and can easily transition with layers, shoes, and accessories.
For fall, I love lots of neutrals; tans & creams, burnt orange, hunter & sage greens, and maroons. Here are four current pieces that I’m styling for warm weather now, but will transition into the fall & winter!
