Who else is relishing in the fact that athleisure and sneakers are not only acceptable, but they are here to stay?! Let’s face it. Being comfortable just too good to pass up on these days – I honestly used to love getting dressed up for a day at the office.

When I was pregnant with our first two, I wore heels all the way through each pregnancy until the end. But when I was pregnant with our third, it was much harder on my body – everything was so achy, especially my feet! I started wearing sneakers daily, it didn’t matter what my outfit was. That is at least one good thing to come out of 2020 – the gift of dressing for comfort, ALWAYS!

Now that I work from home, and have 3 busy toddlers to chase around all the time, I just prefer the comfort of athleisure. I love nothing more than a good matching set with some women’s fashion sneakers because I can still feel comfy without feeling like a complete slob. When I need to run out, I simply throw on my YSL purse, chic sunglasses and sneakers.

What are Women’s Fashion Sneakers?

Simply put, women’s fashion sneakers are just that – fashionable kicks that you can throw on with any outfit and feel elevated! These are not your typical athletic sneakers that you would slip on to go for a run or to the gym. These are the sneakers that you throw on with athleisure looks, and still feel put chic and effortlessly fashionable.

They come in a huge variety: all white, animal print, glittery, chunky – the list goes on. I’m very clearly drawn to the animal print sneakers – shocking!

When I’m not wearing my beloved chunky FILA’s (which are currently marked down to just $50), I have been resorting to my old school Superstars, because let’s face it, they are classic and go with everything and will never go out of style!

Women’s Fashion Sneakers: White

You can style sneakers so many different ways, including styled with a flannel shirt for fall/winter seasons. I particularly love an all white fashion sneaker, because they honestly just have no limits. Pair with them anything from sweatpants or leggings to a fun maxi dress.

And for me, the chunkier the better! I’ve had my FILA’s forever, but right now, I’ve got my eye on these chunky Steve Madden sneaks.
